My Project

These items are some of the things my leadership students found we needed when creating a more joyful environment. They also advocated for the need for ink to get some projects going without slowing us down! These items will allow us to run programs in our classroom to support students and to continue to improve our campus with bulletin boards, flyers, and new initiatives.

This project will encourage a calming space for 6th graders to focus and learn as well as leadership students to find space to get creative and feel safe.

Ms. Shields George Washington Carver Middle School Grades 6-8

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.

Equity Focus
