Have you ever created your own video? My students enjoy creating, recording, and watching videos that help teach other students about math and science. Without having a camera that they can use in the classroom, my students have fewer opportunities to integrate technology into their learning.
My energetic third graders are learning to be self-directed learners who demonstrate their learning in innovative ways.
My students learn math and science in Spanish. They would benefit greatly from having the tools in the classroom to create and record their own videos about the science and math topics they are learning. Creating videos gives my students an opportunity to show off their productive language abilities in their second language.
My creative students need the tools to use their creativity productively in class!
My Project
A camera, tripod, and memory card will give my students the resources they need to create videos in the classroom, allowing them to show off what they have learned not only for their teacher and their peers, but also for their parents and for class groups who will follow them.
A color printer and ink will allow my students to print out still pictures related to their learning and projects they complete. There are no color printers available in my school.
Donating to this project will allow creative, active, energetic third graders to use their creativity and energy to produce videos that they can share with others.
By donating to this project, you can help my students integrate their language learning with their science and math learning.
