Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are curious, eager to learn new things, and they love moving around. My school is a Title I school. Many of our families qualify for free or reduced-rate lunches.

Our school promotes a positive learning environment for all students.

My students are so full of energy! They need to move, wiggle, and bounce in order to focus for 7 hours a day. We need some new classroom furniture in order to exchange our standard hard, plastic chairs with more flexible seating that will meet my students' needs.

My Project

Your donations will help me provide my students with the learning environment they need. These 9 year old kiddos need to get up and move, wiggle, and bounce multiple times during the day. The four round tables will provide my students with the options of unique seating choices in the classroom.

Studies have shown that physical activity leads to more on task behaviors, greater motivation and engagement, and higher academic performance.

The four round tables will add to my flexible seating environment and give students a choice in the classroom. They will have more choices in choosing where they work best in the classroom.
