Help me give my students the opportunity for movement with balance boards, sensory mats, and Let's Get Moving mats!

My Students
My students are preschool students who come from diverse backgrounds. I teach two sessions of preschool. Each session is a mix of of typically developing students and those with special needs. In both classes there are also several students that are English as a New Learner. Each child comes to me with varying experiences. They need to be motivated and challenged every day. We are a high poverty district in which 78% of the students in the township qualify for free and reduced lunch. I believe all children have potential and can participate in all activities.
My Project
Preschooler students are very active! They need a variety of opportunities to use their gross motor skills. The materials in this grant would be set up in the classroom prior to the children arriving each day. The material will also be readily available during the day. The children will have the opportunity to use the balance board, or follow the directions on the activity mat prior to trying to focus on a task. Despite giving children opportunities for movement they still try to move around during our greeting time therefore the cube chairs will help the children to have a designated space to sit.
Children need the opportunity to move to help with their learning and focus throughout the day!
