Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am so excited to have my third grade students back in the classroom. After a year and a half of virtual learning the students are excited to get to work together and collaborate with each other. In our classroom we will incorporate a variety of learning strategies, specifically focused on group work and partner work. Incorporating alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! We will use a hands on approach to get students involved in their learning. We will also continue to develop a love for reading, while motivating students to getting them reacclimated into the classroom environment.

My Project

These resources will be used to get students to collaborate and work together. We will build a foundation for loving to read through fun chapter books and flexible seating, that will allow students to move around the room and work with their peers. We will get the students back on grade level with fun games, as well as stories, after COVID caused them to miss valuable instruction. The students will be able to focus in a well organized and comfortable classroom environment, that will allow students to fully engage in their learning.
