Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We have 4 lunch periods where the children get to go outside on good weather days. Unfortunately they don't have playground equipment so we would like to supply things like balls, jump ropes, hoops, etc. so they can play instead of just standing around.

Since we have about 200 students per lunch period and a small area for them to go out to we can't take all the students out at each lunch period for movement education for safety reasons. So when we do take them out we would like to have equipment for them to play with.

Having equipment for the children to play with will keep them from getting into trouble outside by playing rough games. With equipment outside they will be able to burn off a good amount of energy when they are out there. They will have good wholesome fun with their friends.

Your help will ensure that our students have a great time burning energy during their lunch movement education. It will keep them occupied with safe games instead of rough playing occurring. Please make it possible for our students to have an enjoyable lunch movement education with their friends when they do get to go out which is not everyday.
