My Project

The children are learning how to be independent in the classroom. They are practicing their gross and fine motor skills and will benefit from materials to help them practice and refine their movements. Materials such as movement activities, mats, practical life materials to help care for the overall environment, and stools to help them reach the sink to independently wash their own hands.

These materials help the child gain independence in life skills such as dressing themselves, eating, going to the bathroom, washing hands, and taking care of their environment.

The children are working on developing concentration skills, coordination skills, a strong sense of order, and most importantly independence. The child gains confidence through practicing these skills and begins to take academic risks.
