Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While creating a new space on the floor for students to sit, having a new carpet with spots on it will allow them to have their own space.

The carpet will create a comfortable space for students to sit and learn.

Having their own space on the floor will also teach students about boundaries and personal space. Getting a new carpet space will also create more organization inside the classroom while reducing distractions and conflicts over seating, each student will have their own assigned space.

Not only can the carpet provide structure for the kids, it can also provide a comfortable space for students to sit while collaborating or working during free time inside the classroom. This classroom rug also incorporates a learning element such as the shapes and colors on the rug.

My students deserve to have a clean space on the floor while learning and collaborating.
