My Students

Having choices of how to solve the problem of the day in math is one thing. One can erase, Google the information, raise their hand and ask a question, etc. When being bullied you need more choices of how to handle the situation with ease. All while remaining cool in front of peers...

My students are awesome!

They strive to please you and are really hard workers. We have read many genres of books about bullying and the students appreciated the examples from a previous donated project. Like anywhere else, tempers, attitudes, and personalities vary within the classroom. This is why my students would benefit from having more books to provide more scenarios of handling situations about bullying. I'm proud to say the students have implemented many strategies of talking their way with the use of conversations. But, this is something that must be addressed daily.

My Project

Having more opportunities through literature and technology will allow the student choices. Knowing each and every student learns and applies ideas differently, requesting these materials can aid in reaching all students. The students read together which helps them feel comfortable to converse about situations. This starts great class discussions of advantages and disadvantages of decision making. This will help deal with bullying in all forms. I hope to get the book entitled Bullying in Schools to aid in reducing bullying.

Please help put an end to bullying in my school and classroom by donating Bullying in Schools and providing the technology of two Kindle Fire Tablets.

This will provide choices that students can use to combat bullying.
