My Students

My class is comprised of a very diverse group of juniors and seniors who enjoy a love of learning. They strive for the best and push themselves to achieve their goals. I am impressed by their determination and enthusiasm. Our goal is to work towards increasing the availability of Dual Enrollment, CLEP, and AP classes so that they reflect the diversity of our school.

My Project

This project will allow my students to have extra motivation to increase academic performance. The gift cards will be given to high achievers and students who exhibit an increase in overall performance from one exam to the next. This will be also be based on performance-based activities. Fully funding this will have a great impact on students, motivating them to achieve higher grades on CLEP and Dual Enrollment Exams, as well as thought-provoking activities. Sometimes motivation is the key to starting a cascade of learning from one unit to the next.
