This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Dear Future Donors,

Our first-grade classroom is filled with bright, energetic learners, many of whom have significant sensory needs that can make focusing and learning a challenge.

This project, "Motivation in the Making" is designed to create a more supportive and positive learning environment, and I need your help to bring it to life.

This project focuses on three key areas:

Positive Reinforcement: I believe in celebrating good behavior and effort. Your generous donation will help us purchase small prizes to reward students who are demonstrating positive behavior, making good choices, and working hard. These rewards will serve as tangible encouragement and motivation, fostering a more positive classroom culture.

Essential Supplies: Every first grader needs the tools to succeed. Your contribution will help us stock our classroom with essential supplies like pencils, ensuring that all students have what they need to participate fully in lessons and express their creativity. These seemingly small items make a big difference in a child’s learning experience.

Calming Corner Enhancement: Our classroom has a designated calming corner, a vital space for students who need a moment to regulate their emotions and sensory input. To further enhance this space, we would love to add a Yoto Player. This device plays calming stories, music, and sounds, providing a soothing and engaging sensory experience that can help students de-escalate and return to learning feeling refreshed and focused.

We know that a positive and supportive learning environment is crucial for the development of young children. By investing in this project, you will be directly impacting the lives of our first graders, helping them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a significant difference.
