My Project
I am a Curriculum Coordinator at Kipapa School and one of my responsibilities is to provide educational support in our Literacy Room for some of our most vulnerable students including, but not limited to, English Language Learners and any other student who struggles to read on grade level. At Kipapa, we believe in eliminating labels so that we can support all students who struggle academically. I also provide the opportunity for morning tutoring each day for students before school and most do not wake up in time to eat breakfast. I would like to be able to offer these students a snack so that they do not have to try to learn on an empty stomach. I would also like to provide rewards for students who show up and give their best efforts each day. I believe these treats and stickers will provide the extra motivation needed to inspire my students to reach their fullest potential. Thank you in advance for your consideration and support!
