Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After a year and a half of remote learning, my students and I are reunited with one another. It has been an overwhelmingly amazing feeling to be working alongside one another in person.
My students support each other academically, emotionally, and socially.
They are kind-hearted, hardworking, independent thinkers and learners, that possess so many admirable qualities. They genuinely love coming to school, learning, and being with their friends and teachers. Even though, they have profound learning and language differences, they strive to understand and apply grade level standards into independent and collaborative learning opportunities.
This project was specifically created with a vision in mind. The requested materials will enhance our learning environment, in particular our math center. The requested math posters and materials will support the visual and tactile needs of the students. The laminator will ensure that the students have ongoing access to sturdy tools, graphic organizers, process charts, etc. The shadow boxes will be used to display beautiful student work in the classroom. The requested materials will enhance the appearance of the classroom, as well as ensure that the students have the materials and supplies they need for a successful school year.
