Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My resource classroom is an environment where 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade special education students thrive on motivation and positive reinforcement. To encourage effort, persevering through challenging academic tasks and positive behavior, I am seeking support for a prize box filled with exciting and fun items. These prizes will not only bring smiles to my students' faces but also serve as a tangible reminder of their achievements. Some of the items that I wish to include are bubble wands for fun breaks, kinetic sand for sensory, mMagic notebooks for encourage writing and self-expression, and fidgets for stress relief.

These items will be awarded to students who demonstrate classroom expectations: effort, kindness, and/or achievement in the resource setting.

By providing these rewards, I hope to create a positive and supportive learning environment that motivates students to excel academically and socially.
