Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fourth grade students are amazing children learning in a Title I school located in a high-poverty area and who receive a free lunch. They are also English learners and as stated before come from low-income households. These two realities put them at a disadvantage because they have limited English skills and do not have access to enrichment experiences. Although this is true, you wouldn’t think so based on their attitudes. They are a very positive group. They love learning and always put forth great effort in everything they do. I would love to be able to keep them motivated and expand their knowledge and creativity every day.

My Project

I believe every student can learn. I also know that they learn best when they are engaged, motivated, and rewarded for their hard work. This is why I believe that the Cricut Maker, Cricut roll holder, and the Cricut tools would be a great addition to our classroom materials.

These materials will stimulate my students' imagination and creativity and self-esteem.

With these tools, they will be able to create fun and engaging educational projects as well as holiday projects as gifts for their loved ones. They will also feel motivated and rewarded because these tools will allow me to provide them with personalized incentives and rewards for their effort and achievements. In addition, I will use these materials to enhance our classroom environment making it a happy and welcoming place to be. After all, a happy child makes for a happy classroom.
