Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All of the students in our 7th grade are working towards creating an exciting and inspiring classroom environment. This is a huge goal and to achieve it we are requesting small treasure gift choices. These small offerings will motivate our students to put their best foot forward in ELA.

In addition to the treasure gifts, we are asking for stress relief fidget toys which will calm our students and provide sensory relief.

So many of our students have a complicated home life and school is their refuge. Our job is to alleviate that stress and create an environment for learning and change.

Our 7th grade students are amazing. So far this year they have shown creativity and resiliency in their everyday learning. Our goal is to encourage them and reward them for their effots. These small gifts and toys will spread cheer and motivate out student population. These gifts will be handed out as rewards for classroom reading projects and participation in classroom discussions. A small gesture like picking from the treasure chest could inspire our most reluctant students. Please consider partnering with us to reach this goal.
