Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A lot of students already dread coming to school everyday. Rather than giving them work to do as soon as they get to the classroom, I want to provide my students many ways to get ready for the school day.

I want my students to have an easy transition from their homes to the classroom.

These materials will be used for our morning tubs where students will have options of the activities they want do. They will have the option of diving into hands on activities with the clay, kinetic sand and legos. Instead of completing worksheets, students will be able to use their imagination with their peers. The morning tubs will also provide more relaxing opportunities such as reading, look and finds and reviewing vocabulary. The headphones will help students down the sound the of the classroom. Students will have options of choosing the activities that will help them have a successful day at school!
