My Project

Second graders love to create! My students love to showcase their imagination and creativity as a way to connect with those around them. I am switching grades this upcoming year and want to create morning STEAM/creativity bins for my kids to reach for each morning after unpacking. Typically we have about 10-15 minutes as students come in in the morning and get settled. In creating these bins, I have thought of the different interests of students!

Maybe they want to play Play-doh, maybe they want to build the tallest tower with LEGOS, maybe they want to showcase their creativity by stenciling some animals to make a farm scape-the opportunities are endless!

These morning bins will give my students the opportunity to create, use their imagination, and apply STEAM skills on a daily basis. I love watching children's imagination flow and I can't wait for a successful year with these morning bins!
