My Students

I love my students and my community! I have amazing students who are driven and always strive to succeed. These students exhibit a wide range of academic skills that demand a variety of ways to enhance their learning.

As a teacher, I try to provide engaging, rigorous, and differentiated activities every day.

These children are growing up in a fast-paced world and I want them to be prepared to keep up with these demands and acquire 21st century learning skills.

My Project

My students need engaging and invigorating activities in our "Explore Center" that promote critical thinking and problem solving skills. Currently, our selection of items is rather limited...we need MORE to EXPLORE!

I'd like to purchase the Create-A-Path Magnetic Center from Lakeshore and the accompanying magnetic board.

This activity provides the perfect opportunity for students to sharpen their STEM problem-solving skills in a fun and exciting way. Students can build, test, and reconfigure a variety of pathways using plastic pipes and foam balls.

I would also like to purchase Jurassic Sand and sand tools for our sensory table. We have a wonderful sand table in our classroom, but no sand to go in it! The sand will offer students a hands-on way to explore their world using their senses. Tactile learning promotes language development, problem solving, serves as a creative outlet, and can also be very calming.
