My Project

Students are not the only learners in the education system. Teachers are also lifelong learners. In order to become a better educator I seek out as many professional development opportunities I can each year to refine my craft. Many of the professional developments workshops I would like to attend are being held virtually. Additionally, my district requires online training to be completed each year. I also would like to attend in person workshops when possible and would need to able to take notes effectively. All of these things require a laptop.

To attend and complete online professional development workshops and trainings I am in need of a laptop.

The professional development opportunities I plan to attend include Society for Science, NJ Science Convention, and NSTA. I also will be completing online safety training courses.

By attending professional development workshops I can learn new strategies to help my students engage with and learn new content in my classroom.
