My Project

Every child needs to know how to read to have success in their education and life. Reading comes easier for some children than others, and it's the job of an educator to help give our students the tools, instruction, practice, and inspiration toward literacy. I am grateful for the chance to be the person who can help my students find joy and success in their reading.

There is more than one way for a child to practice reading!

Some students need to hear things read to them aloud, some are better at reading alone, and many students need multiple ways of practicing their reading and reading comprehension skills.

My goal for this project is to give my classroom a set of books to read, as well as headphones for each student to use to listen to stories that will help them with their reading comprehension skills.
