Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students cannot get enough of graphic novels, comics, and manga books. I want to help my students build enthusiasm for reading by providing them with books they enjoy.

The books included in this project are frequently requested titles that my students would like to read.

These books are highly engaging, and the pictures help students learn English and become better readers. Books that combine graphics with text enable struggling readers to use context to decode new words. These requested books, including the popular Invincible, and comic books, will bring more students to the library and help improve their literacy.
