My Students

I am a teacher of resilient, fun-loving, fourth graders at a Title One school where one hundred percent of our scholars receive free breakfast and lunch. Though they may come from challenging environments, each day they arrive at school eager to learn and laugh!

It is our mission to ensure students are encouraged and motivated to succeed through both our positive behavior supports and rigorous learning practices.

When these supports and practices are in place, students will have the tools needed to succeed!

My Project

These learning and sanitation supplies will help ensure my scholars enter a classroom where they feel safe and prepared to take on the Fourth Grade!

My goal is to provide each student with an individual set of learning tools.

Such as pencils, erasers, highlighters, crayons, scissors, glue, folders, composition books etc. to decrease the level of supply sharing. Thus, decreasing the spread of germs in an already high risk environment. The access to masks, hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes/spray, and tissues also help stop the spread. The large space air purifier is another line of defense to provide an extra sense of security for me and my class.

My hope is that these supplies reduce the anxiety, fear and discomfort students will undoubtedly experience returning to full, in-person learning. When a classroom gives children a strong sense of safety and security, they are best able to learn and thrive.

Please help make this return to in-person learning as awesome and comfortable as possible for my Fourth Graders!
