My Project
As requested by my students, we would love to have more graphic novels for our classroom library. Many of my students do not have the luxury or ability to pick up a graphic novel and read because they want to. I hope to change that for them and allow them even more opportunities and a bigger selection.
Adding even more graphic novels for literature circles or to be read for pleasure allows for more choice and exposure to art and literature.
These kids are incredible and are asking for more, and I hope this "want" can become a reality in our classroom. I like to expose students to the world around us in my class, and graphic novels are a small way to introduce new career paths and reading possibilities and have brought about great conversations in the classroom.
