My Students

I teach in Richmond, Virginia at a Title I school. My students love to learn and are always excited to see what we will be doing next. I want to ensure that my students have a myriad of books to read, interactive, and engaging activities, and for my students to be comfortable and feel at home in their classroom. Being that many of my students are from low-income households, when they are in the classroom I want them to be able to have experiences that they may be unable to have at home.

Please help my intuitive, creative, fun-loving young leaders, who have a love for learning, to be prepared for the school year with supplies and items needed for our classroom.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I have requested will not only help my students academics, but our classroom culture as well. The items requested will help the students to build responsibility as well as give them the opportunity to have more engaging lessons. The mailbox will help the students build responsibility and organizational skills that they can carry on throughout their academic career and life. The chart paper with the primary lines will help me display writing skills on a larger format to ensure that all students can see.
