My Project

I am a 7th-grade language arts teacher in Denver Public Schools. In my classroom, I believe encouraging and giving class time to read is incredibly important. I love to have many options in my classroom library for all students to enjoy. My DonorsChoose list includes a variety of books that students will love to read. I also included a Polaroid camera on this list. The reason for this is when students finish reading a book, I have them take a picture holding the book. I post these pictures around my room so other students will ask, discuss, and become excited to read! Thank you for your time.
