My Project

Students who have access to books at their ability level are more likely to read! My classroom library is where students can find something that suits them while letting them learn about the world around them and gaining reading confidence. I am always striving to provide choices to meet all of my students' abilities and interests with suspense and adventure books. Keeping things organized is important in a middle school classroom, too! The easier it is to find things, like in a clearly-labeled bin, the more likely they will be to find what they want.

My students need exposure to the diversity they will encounter when they leave our small community.

Reading is a proven way to build empathy and understanding. These books and organizational materials will enhance our classroom library and our students' lives.
