My Project
The books in this list are long-read books suggested by our reading curriculum. I want the students to be able to read these books in a book club setting so they can collaborate and work together to comprehend themes and other literary devices and elements in the literature. There are also dictionaries on the list because the ones I have in my classroom are old and have not been updated in the 10 years since I have been in my classroom.
The students will work together to read and complete a culminating project which will help them understand and enjoy the world of reading and literature.
The curriculum that we have offers study guides for these novels to help guide and direct the students on what to look for so they have time to read more novels that connect to the essential question of the unit we are covering in class.
