Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students lack access to necessary hygiene products, they may miss school during their menstrual cycles due to discomfort or lack of supplies. By providing these products, we can reduce absenteeism, ensuring students can attend class consistently and stay on top of their work. Menstruation can cause discomfort and distraction. Having access to feminine products can alleviate the physical and emotional stress students may feel, allowing them to focus better on their studies instead of worrying about managing their period.

Providing access to feminine hygiene products in schools can have a significant positive impact on student learning.

When schools provide access to hygiene products, it promotes equality. Some students may come from families with limited resources, and ensuring that all students have access to these products creates a level playing field, helping everyone to focus on their education without worrying about their personal needs. Overall, providing feminine hygiene products helps create an environment where all students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
