This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are part of an opportunity to experience education and learning in a unique setting. They are part of a public Montessori school. This project is supporting the replacement of materials I’ve had for over 20 years. It is also adding new materials to our Montessori math and science areas.
The beauty of these materials is that they are student driven and support independent inquiry in these subject areas.
These materials help foster rigorous, self-motivated growth. The goal is to nurture each child’s natural desire for knowledge, understanding and respect.
