My FACS students are so talented and creative. While they might have difficulties in regular general education classes, they shine in Family and Consumer Science classes.
My students will make stuffed monster toys based on the drawings by kindergarten students in our district.
After the toys are drawn, my students will get to work cutting, sewing, and stuffing the monster dolls. When the projects are complete, we will deliver the monster dolls to the kindergarten students.
Child development is a standard we cover in FACS. I am happy that my students will actually work with young children to complete this project.
