Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During small groups the student will work on identifying and naming the coins, and learning their value. The money manipulatives will help my students perfect money counting. They will be able to use the manipulatives when solving money problems in math center. They will also be able to work with partners during small group and practice money counting. They will perfect their skills in identifying each coin, name it, and know their coin value. This will help them in real life situations as well, when they need to count money in the real world.
