Help me give my students the opportunity to learn about money and at the same time use sensory toys to be able to retain information as my students will need extra tools to be able to learn.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am the proud teacher of an ASD (autism spectrum disorder) classroom, where only two of my students are diagnosed with autism and the rest have been classified with other disabilities LD (learning disabled), ID (intellectual disabled), AD/HD, and behavioral issues. However, regardless of their disabilities, classifications, and issues, they are all extra special to me because during school hours they are my kids. I always said, "I didn't choose to teach, teaching chose me" because this is my second career. I chose to go back to school to be a Special Education Teacher. Every year, I have been working with very limited resources but this particular year, when I started, our classroom had nothing. I have been working with leftover materials, things I collected from other classrooms, etc. we need your help.
My Project
All my students are not yet able to carry concepts learned at school outside school. I am looking to use the financial skills resources to simulate real-life situations in the classroom so my students will learn everything that there is about money, finances, transactions, what bills and coins represent and how are they are used in the real world. I am also including sensory toys in my project because all my students benefit from sensory input. Some of the other resources I order for this project are also math-related wipeout clocks to learn time so we can also learn how to tell time.
