My Project

Our College and Career Readiness class focuses on getting our middle school students ready for whatever comes after high school. Most middle schoolers do not know what they want to do with the rest of their lives and we do not expect them to. Rather, we focus on helping students learn life skills like managing a budget, working as a team, opening a bank account, staying organized, and so much more.

This class is new to our school and several families have told me that they wished they had a class like this when they were in school.

The requested teachers pay teachers gift card will help me to create resources for my students. I will use the card to purchase clip art of money and other financial items to create needed resources for my class. The magnetic money can be displayed on our board and will be used to help students during our units on consumer spending and budgeting.
