it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My after-school students are amazing, funny, kind, caring, and resilient. Our after-school program helps keep students safe once the bell rings at the end of the day. We provide engaging enrichment and academic classes at our low-income school. They love staying after school and have much fun learning from their dedicated teachers and volunteers.
Financial literacy is a life skill that everyone needs.
Even at a young age, students encounter financial decisions, such as saving allowance money, making purchases, and understanding the value of money. Teaching financial literacy helps children apply what they learn to real-life situations.
Elementary school is a crucial time to introduce financial concepts because it provides a foundation for more advanced financial education in the future. By teaching financial literacy early, students can build a solid understanding of basic financial principles.
