My Project

This year I want to teach my students how to connect math to money. The focus of the "M" in our STEM class is to improve my students’ knowledge about math by making connections to spending, saving, and borrowing money.

The Kids Bank Play Money Set will allow my students to learn about spending using realistic play money, as they build their multiplication, counting and real world job skills.

My students also struggle to learn their multiplication and division tables. The math War Multiplication cards as well as the Division War Flash Cards will make learning fun as I design competitive lessons to support their learning in the classroom.

Headphones for our Financial Literacy Class, will allow students to engage more actively and comfortably during our digital sessions. Clear audio is essential for fostering communication and interaction in our financial virtual learning space.

These items seem simple, but as a Title I school we do not have all the items needed for each lesson. These items are a great start to explaining to my students the cost of the supplies, and how your donations supports the funding of these supplies.
