Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I admire their creativity, resilience, and the passion they bring to their learning. A pretend market, with toy cash register and play food, will provide the space for students to be engaged more deeply with the content and develop a deeper understanding of math concepts being taught. They can practice counting money, making change, and making purchasing decisions.

The lesson outcomes for students who participate in a pretend market activity can be significant.

They will develop problem solving skills and communication skills. Overall, this activity can be a fun and effective way to teach students about financial literacy and money management.
