My Students

I teach second grade in an awesome school district. My students have varied levels of learning. Our classroom is a very inviting atmosphere where all students can learn in their own way! We are a Title I school, with the majority of our students on free or reduced price lunches.

Each student is unique and special in their own way and I am amazed by their positive attitudes towards learning!

They are very kind to their classmates, loving to their teacher and respectful to everyone they meet.

My Project

I teach in a wonderful school district. I have an awesome class of 25 students who love to use real life experiences while learning. In second grade money is a hard concept for the students to grasp. My class needs a set of coins for each student so we can practice using money in real life situations. Many of my students struggle with the concept of counting coins and I believe by each student having their own set of coins to work with everyday it will make the concept much easier for them.
