My Project

Clay is an expensive art supply, especially for 500+ little artists in one school! My goals for my students include giving them exposure to the use of all art mediums, including the tactile and 3-D nature of clay. Many students find success with clay projects that they don't with the technical precision required for other mediums like drawing. Clay offers calm to anxious students, and it provides a way for students to literally bring their ideas to life as they build sculptural forms. Help me give my young students a chance to try out clay in art class! I have also requested acrylic paint so they can paint the air-dry clay. Color brings life to their creations.
