Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are hoping to switch our sand table into a kinetic sand table. The kinetic sand allows students to mold sand into shapes allowing them to build structures. The current sand we have is powdery and makes the floor slippery, it is a hazard and students are unable to build structures unless we add water, which can lead the table to growing mold.
We want to give students a fun sensory experience by switching our sensory table to kinetic sand, a much safer sand option.
Please help us give our class access to this amazing new sensory material and molds and other tools to play with in the sand table.
