Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are studying historical figures in history beginning from Native Americans to the present. They will be using the clay to mold artifacts that represents the contributions to history. My students have been very receptive to the many unknown figures and what difference they have made. The inventors, political figure and others have made the lives they have now possible. Many have delved further into the lives of each and investigated on their own. Making an artifact to represent will be the final touch in finalizing the unit and giving them something concrete to create.
