Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My amazing students come to school full of energy. They come ready to learn, discover and explore. Our school is a Title 1 school located in a predominant low-income community.

My students are eager and motivated to do their best.

Not even COVID-19 has change their enthusiasm and perseverance in their learning.

My group is composed of English learners and English proficient learners. They are always excited to learn. Because of their positive attitude, I want to provide them with the best opportunities to be successful in their academic journey.

My Project

My students will use play dough, alphabet and number stampers during small group rotations to learn about letter formation and form cvc words. As they do this they will be establishing relation ships with peers and developing their language skills.

Your donation to this project will help my students develop eye-hand coordination while poking, rolling and squishing play dough.

They will use their imagination and creativity to form sculptures of characters to their stories.

As my students' small muscles of their hands and fingers get stronger, their letter and number formation will improve just as their confidence in sharing tools and sharing stories as they use play dough and all the stampers.
