This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love making music and often come to work with me in small groups. There's just one of me and I am often slowed down by basic questions like piano note identification or confusion about guitar chords. These tools we are requesting would support my musicians by providing the answers to their most common questions and enable me to teach at a quicker pace.
We would use these materials to reinforce higher level lessons I've already taught where not all students are moving at the same speed.
They would provide visual cues and helpful charts that would allow my students to develop as musicians at the right pace for them.
