Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are our future doctors, nurses, radiologists, engineers, and teachers. We offer many elective, dual-credit, higher-level science courses in our small, rural school. However, we do all this with a very lean budget.

My students need opportunities to model complex molecular and biochemical processes that they learn about in chemistry, anatomy & physiology, and AP biology.

Even my sophomore-level biology students benefit from hands-on and engaging learning activities.

Your donation will help to purchase a variety of modeling kits for all of my classes so that students can better explore these challenging concepts.
