My Project

My students love to create. They love to get their hands and minds moving at the same time. Modeling is an excellent way to learn while keeping hands and minds moving together.

When students minds and hands are active together, school is more fun, more interesting and more of a valuable experience for students.

In my classes, we model cells, plants, body systems and ecological relationships. One of the projects my students will be doing is to use the colored pencils and markers along with the DNA model to help them better visualize the structure of DNA so they can get a better understanding of how the DNA molecule plays a role in making the proteins our bodies need to grow and function properly.

By donating to our project, you help my students to model, you help them to visualize and trouble shoot and most importantly, you help them to learn!
