Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hey there! I am a social studies teacher who runs the Model UN program at my school! This is the first year our students are attempting to host their own conference. This is a huge endeavor, and our students spend well over 10 hours a week getting ready to make an equitable and diverse conference for students from all 5 Boroughs of NYC! The goal of this conference is to make sure that students from all schools in NYC (especially Title I) can participate in Model UN. This means that we have reached out to Title I schools all over NYC to come participate in this conference. Because we are not charging registration/delegate fees to any Title I school, we need help funding this event!

All of the supplies listed are things we absolutely need in order to have a successful conference.

Microphones, cardstock, laminating sheets, gavels, are all necessities for our Model UN and without the help of donors, we wouldn't be able to buy all of them.

Your donation would mean so much to my incredibly bright and dedicated students to the Model UN!
