This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Centered in the diverse and engaging neighborhood of Williamsburg. My students are committed in putting their best foot forward. My 5th grade students are always thinking of ways to enhance their skills as writers, readers, historians, mathematicians and critical thinkers.
Interactive and engaging activities are at the center of great learning and this is something our school is great for.
We are currently implementing a program called Leader In Me to help not only serve students academically but also holistically to meet the needs of our students as a whole.
My Project
This material will help me support my students from a distance. The document camera helps me present information or model writing or word problems by displaying them from a paper to the SmartBoard. This way everyone can see the document from a safe distance. This is especially important when clarifying written information, modeling an example of a task, or when displaying how to solve a word problem correctly. My students and I would greatly appreciate your support and thank you for contributing to this or any other project on Donor's Choose.
