My Students

My students come from low-income families. We have 100% free breakfast and lunch for every child. Students are not always able to access some of the resources that would help them succeed educationally. My students are thankful for the resources they do have. They are eager to learn and thankful for any opportunity they are given. These students need to be exposed to diverse, rich, and meaningful content. This can only be done with the use of meaningful resources that make learning easier and more engaging.

My Project

I want each learner to have the materials they need to ensure success in all areas of their education experience. I want these learners to have different options to learn the way they learn. I want each learner to have options for how they would like to stay organized. That can change each day. I want to be able to deliver lessons in multiple ways. Some students learn best when they are sitting while others learn better when they are laying down. Stand up desks would be great for those that want to stand but still need to write. The high top table and chairs would be great for partner work and more seating options. Options are important and help each student ensure they have the best environment to learn.
