This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are a STEM focused school that conjure up new engineering projects that best teach students ingenuity, creativity, innovation, and other abilities that will assist their segue into the workforce. The majority of the students come from a Hispanic background and are often first generation immigrants reliant on free and reduced price lunch. Some of the students don't have the ability to pursue their passions outside of class, so the school does its best to provide the tools needed for them to be successful in their chosen fields.

Despite any obstacles the students may face at home, they are very dedicated and have an unwavering motivation to succeed.

Our students devote several hours after school and on weekends to their projects. The joy they express upon completing a project would exhilarate anyone. These projects are a tool used to show students what they are capable of and inspire them to pursue STEM degrees. They work hard for their passions and thus achieve the goals they desire through their commitment of time and energy to these projects. With the funds for these projects, the students have a solid foundation for their dreams.

My Project

In our engineering and technologies class we are very focus in teaching new and renewable technologies.

By building a mobile solar station our students are not only learning about electrical engineering, power, Amps, Volts, Batteries, Charge controllers, but also they will learn on how to use solar power and how can we contribute to save the environment and the planet.

When this project is done the entire school could be using it for any outdoors activities to plug any electrical device without the need of getting connected to the grid, such as athletics teams competitions, field trips, engineering competitions, fairs, etc.
