Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Reading should always be an amazing experience in a child's life. Having a variety of books with characters that children love is so important. Children need books that have storylines and characters that make them laugh and smile.

Mo Willems is an author/ illustrator that really helps students relate to books and love to read.

Having these books inside our classroom library will help make students motivated to read. They will love having the opportunity to take these books home to share with their parents/ family members. As a child, I always loved listening and reading books with my parents and I want to be able to pass this opportunity on to my students inside and outside of our classroom.

I will provide my students with exciting book baggies that they will use to transport their books to and from school on a daily basis.
